My team was tasked with designing a concept for a medication-reminder app to boost user engagement and create positive experiences with NavisHealth. We began with user-research, interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis to debunk our assumptions and focus on the biggest pain point for our users.
Remembering to take new medication is challenging because it is not yet built into an existing routine.
To further synthesize our research and keep the group aligned on our users, we created personas, affinity maps, and customer journey maps.
HOW DO WE HELP PATIENTS INCORPORATE NEW MEDICATIONS INTO THEIR ROUTINE?
After several rounds of design iteration and testing, we designed an app that would increase medical adherence by helping to create new habits by way of our app’s user flow and by associating new medications with daily routines as indicated by iconography.
